Augustine Odinakachukwu (Odii) Ejiogu is Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics, Imo State University, Owerri, Nigeria and holds PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria.
He joined the Imo State University after rising to the position of Chief Agricultural Officer in the Imo State Civil Service. Dr Ejiogu has served in some positions in the university including Head, Department of Agricultural Economics, and is currently the Chairperson, Academic Staff Union of Universities, Imo State University.
He has at various times served as Lead Consultant and Consultant, Project Impact Evaluation and Mid Term Review, for the Imo State Community and Social Development Project (CSDP), a World Bank assisted project; Facilitator, New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) Nigeria Self-Assessment exercise; Office Editor, Integrated Baseline Health Survey, USAID/BASICS, Aba, Nigeria. He has significant knowledge in agricultural policy analysis and implementation, agricultural loan investigation, and statistical analyses data. Over the past 20 years, Dr Ejiogu has at various times attended both international and local conferences, and has published more than 30 academic papers in local and international journals. He is a member of such professional associations as Nigerian Agricultural Policy Research Network, Nigeria Environmental Study Action Team.
