Nneji Ifeyinwa Umeokeke is a Ph.D student in Agricultural Economics from University of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Her PhD thesis is on water weed economies and welfare of riverine households in Nigeria. Her field of interest includes agricultural policy, production and food economics, and impact evaluation. She currently obtained a certificate with distinction from the World Bank course “Investing in Quality Infrastructure for a Green, Inclusive and Resilient Recovery” in 2022 and a development economics course from IZA Institute of Labour Economics in 2021.

She is also serving as a Research Assistant under the National Research Fund – Tertiary Education Trust Fund (NRF-TETFUND) Nigeria on Gender Differentials in Resource Allocation and Nutrition Outcomes among Farming Households in Nigeria. She obtained her master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Ibadan and an undergraduate degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Maiduguri Nigeria.
